NUTRITION LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
Applications will be reviewed by an independent selection committee comprising
representatives from or selected by the Dannon Institute Board of Directors and
Scientific Council. If deemed necessary by the committee, applicants will be contacted
for additional information or clarification. Final selected participants will be
notified by February 28, 2010. By submitting an application for this program,
applicants agree to abide by the decision of the committee, which shall be final
and binding. If selected, participants must agree to attend the entire
program from June 6 – 9, 2010. Participants must arrive June 6, 2010 and depart
no earlier than June 10, 2010.
Required Documents
Before continuing further, be sure to have the following required
documents on hand in either Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) or PDF format only:
- A letter indicating your reasons for being interested in this opportunity as well
as your interest in taking a leadership role (such as department chair/head, school director,
dean or other academic leader) in the future (no more than two pages). Please review the
program description information provided on this website before drafting this letter.
- One copy of your curriculum vitae or resume.
- A one-page abstract describing your current leadership roles in your university or
academic post and/or professional societies.
Applicants who are selected for participation are responsible for obtaining any necessary
passports, visas, etc. for travel to the United States
Please note that a total of three letters of recommendation will be required to complete
your application. The Dannon Institute requires a recommendation letter be submitted by an
applicant’s direct supervisor, an academic leader in the applicant’s university, and another
academic reference which may be from a university peer.

received no later than February 1, 2010.
